Purpose

Why We Exist As a Church

There are four reasons why we exist as a church

To Love God

Deuteronomy 10:12 (NLT)

“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.” As God’s children, our primary objective is to love and serve God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24), to build a solid relationship with Him, and to live for Him. This is our greatest desire as a church.

To Love One Another

John 13:34 (NLT)

“I give you a new commandment to love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.” There is no greater love than the love of Christ when he laid down His life for us on Calvary. With this, He calls upon His church to imitate Him - to be ready on all occasions to sacrifice for one another. This new commandment is the highest moral standard ever prescribed by our Lord to practice.

To Build God's Triumph Church

Matthew 16:18 (NLT)
"Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock, I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it." Building God's church means allowing God to show himself to the world through us.

To Live Selflessly

Galatians 6:2 (NLT)
"Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ." Our purpose is to care for one another to promote unity and benevolence among the saints.
